Aid agencies are raising concerns about the risks of sexual exploitation, abuse and human trafficking. According to United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) report on risks of Human Trafficking it is estimated that because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine over 15 million Ukrainians are in need of humanitarian and protection assistance, this includes over 2 million children.

We are concerned about this risk to Ukrainian women and children and are establishing contacts with charities that provide legal and material assistance to these people.
